I have two tattoos. Neither of which have anything to do with my sorority. I would never get anything sorority related made a permanent part of my body, because my feelings for the people in it tend to waver back and forth. However, I could care less what the other girls get tattooed on themselves. If they wanted to tattoo their letters on their forehead, I'd just tell them to make sure they took care of it, cuz it would look rather nasty if it got infected. (And you know those hair care products wouldn't be too great for it).
To each her (and his) own. Hell, if one of my sisters made it into Playboy, I'd probably buy a bunch of them and get her to autograph them.
