Makes sense, CG. I guess when you know, you know.

That whole state should be it’s own country and call it Michigangstan, make Detroit the capital, the state bird a pit bull, and the official currency are loose cigarettes and Hennessy LOL!
You seen the potholes there? They’re big enough to set up jacuzzi jets in one, get your girls together, and chill LOL!

HILARIOUS @ the way your post reads, Dee. A conversation about car jackings in a Christmas song thread? lol. I’ll go look now.

Oh my! And how long did it take you to get used to that? lol

No, I have never been to Jackson. Isn’t your dog an American Pit Bull Terrier, Phrozen? I could have sworn you posted that.

I saw. If my memory is correct, he’s poking fun at his own dog, lol.

It's definitely infuriating at times, my bank card is a glorified cash card. But my usual finances just mean withdrawing money from my bank account to give to my wife to pay for rent/savings/any CC expenses I have on our shared card. My transit card is on my phone so I can use my card to put money on it via Apple Pay. Cash is still king here any ways and it's not odd to have the equivalent of several hundred dollars on your person at one time.
AND ANOTHER THING BANK OF JAPAN, WHY DO THE DIFFERENT BILLS HAVE DIFFERENT SIZES?! I feel like the foreign comedian complaining about kanji (the borrowed writing system from China)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2icA1VaYg80
Oh wow, I saw the full version, I can already head some of you laughing from over here.

Don’t get me started on you, CG. If my memory serves me correctly, when you were living in Minnesota, you met up with dude from Detroit over coffee, dumped the dude you were with in Minnesota, then followed Detroit dude back to Michigan. You said it yourself that you knew you were going to get him. CG, the Detroit stalker LOL!

Hilarious! Do you ever think you’ll be able to speak Japanese like the guy in the video? I laughed so hard at that guy, lol.
The way they do things there with their money would be so frustrating. I can’t even imagine. And then to carry that much cash on you like that… I mean, that’s like telling someone “Hey, I have lots of cash on me, so please mug me!” I think I’d actually like the idea of the bills being different sizes, especially if I was a tourist or a new resident there. Know what I mean?

Well then, according to you, you’re basically walking around with a four-legged tribute to the city you hate so much. Sounds like Detroit rubbed off on you, Mister.

Oh, absolutely! I was going to MSU no matter what — degree first, hot guy second. Call it a dual purpose mission: Doctorate by day, heart thief by night. I graduated with honors, and he graduated from boyfriend to hubby. Mission accomplished.
And you totally got that story all wrong, lol.

Hopefully I'll get there sooner or later.
Japan is an incredibly safe country, theft is extremely rare (outside of umbrellas and bikes). You could walk into a Starbucks, place a bag/jacket/laptop on a table and spend 5 minutes ordering a coffee or using the bathroom and your things will still be there.
I usually order my bills by amount, with the lesser value being first. Having several 1000 yen bills with a single 10,000 yen bill that sticks out a few centimeters will bug me.

I wish the United States was low in crime like that. What’s their justice system like there? I’m just asking because I’m wondering how they have such low crime, unlike the U.S.

My boy sent me this from X. I tried to post it, but it won’t let me, so I’ll type it. This is from an Indian - American dude.
“I’m deeply questioning my decision to support the Republican Party after witnessing the persistent and dehumanizing attacks directed at me and my community by individuals who, despite hiding behind a veneer of respectability, openly harbor and amplify racist ideologies. I’ve tried to hold onto the belief that these voices represent a vocal minority, not the broader values of the party. But time and again, I am disheartened as accounts with massive followings — many of them wielding significant influence — parrot unhinged conspiracy theories and perpetuate overtly racist tropes without consequence.”
All I gotta say to this dude is eff you. Your bitch ass got what you wanted. Glad MAGA is now attacking your community. Now you know what the shit feels like.

Wow, it took him this long to figure out what everyone with a functioning brain has known for decades?? Really? Did he really think he could cozy up to a party built on bigotry and somehow be exempt from it? Ya know, that’s some next-level stupidity. Maybe if he spent less time being a bootlicking dumbass, and more time actually paying attention, he wouldn’t be here “Waah! Waah! Waah!” whining about the obvious consequences of his terrible choices.
Next time, maybe he should try thinking with his brain, instead of whatever malfunctioning pea-sized lump of tissue that’s been guiding his decisions so far. He’s just another Trump supporting, brain-dead, gutter-dwelling, absolutely worthless, bootlicking sack of sh*t!

Hi!! Glad to see you're doing well and congrats on the marriage!
Japan is so safe! I was in Tokyo with my husband for work about ten years ago and loved it so much. I understand that little kids go out for errands on their own--I didn't see that happen, but I'd believe it!

No! Trump’s not just a bigot, he’s a museum-grade asshole, complete with a plaque that says “Do not engage, racist on display!”
He wouldn’t cross the street for anyone who isn’t a carbon copy of himself — pale, praising, stupid, and ready to bow.
