Met through online dating, if someone set me up on a blind date and that's what I observed, I'd never let that person set me up again.
I think we might have spoken on the phone once to set up the date. I had a rule back then is that if I met you through an online dating site, we have to have at least one conversation by phone before I'm willing to meet you.
Mind you I sort of broke my own rule when I met my now husband. We texted a bit for about a week before we met for dinner. At the end of our date, he said to me call me so I know that you made it home ok (which was thoughtful). I then said, oh we can finally speak by phone? He likes to share that bit of trivia with people whenever they ask how we met.
