I have shown PBS documentaries to my students because they’re very informative. There really isn’t such a thing as a “Jim Crow North” though. Jim Crow is Jim Crow. Jim Crow isn’t just a southern thing. Jim Crow is anything south of the Canadian border. Today, it’s just a more advanced version of it. This is the kind of thread where we can learn from each other.

No, I was just going to say how sad it is. Ya know, there were millions of dollars lost during the Jim Crow era due to turning business away from paying customers. The last time I checked, the whole purpose of going into business is to make a profit so you can make a living.
