everybody sing.....It's The Most, Overplayed Song, Every Year (Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!)

Yes. When you have to make-up silly lyrics every time you hear it, yes.

We'd best be merry Paul McCartney never tried to write a tune praising any other major holiday.

And while I still enjoy hearing it, the only reason "My Favorite Things" is intoned near the Christmas season is because NBC hasn't yet stopped showing The Sound Of Music on/near Xmas.

The recent use of this song during the ENTIRE YEAR in a television commercial makes hearing it during the Christmas season MULTIPLE TIMES WORSE than before

Also, the local 24-hours-a-day Christmas Music radio station seems as though it plays the same eight Holiday Songs, but by different artists each time a particular song repeats.

This is definitely one of my mine. What the hell is jingle belling? And scary ghost stories? Are we getting confused with Halloween?

You all have mentioned all the ones that bug me. Santa Baby, All I Want for Christmas is You, but Most Wonderful Time of the Year is the one that makes me change the station.

I got through over a month of Christmas tunes without once being subjected to another one that I loathe, "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" (again with the animals, but it is just a coincidence). How did anyone ever like this song?

And George Michael’s “Last Christmas”. Unfortunately, and ironically his very “Last Christmas” fell on Christmas Day 2016.
