I think it depends on how close you are to the person in question. I mean if its someone that Im really good friends with and all, and I was sure that he wouldnt tell anyone that I told him, Id try to let him know that they have a reputation for bad hazing, make sure that he knows that Im just being a friend and all, just so that he is aware of it and would know what he is getting into. If I was in that situation id sure want someone to tell me, I mean it might not change my mind, but at least Id know about it. So I personally, if he is indeed a friend maybe mention something about it.
