Things to remember OVER what you look like: Be a gentleman. Open doors for her, pull out chairs for her, stand up when she excuses herself (yes we exist in the north also). Be kind to her, LISTEN to what she has to say and join in or add to the conversation, don't just nod your head and act like you hear her, you are only listening to her. Ask her if her meal is ok (if you go out to eat) you know, all the caring things that you can do, but don't do it too much because it might get annoying.
