i think phisigsigchick totally hit the nail on the head when she said to think if you were an active, what kind of person would you want to be in the sorority...totally great advice!
my other word of advice is don't necessairly listen to the girls on your hall, your roomate, or your rush group when deciding who to to go back to. every campus has their own stereotypes of each house, however, i think they are about 90% false most of the time. So relax, enjoy, it's your time to shine!
