Actually, I believe that she put the cup between her legs while she was driving and suffered burns in a much more sensitive area... Plus, they found that the coffee was served too hot and McDonald's now has rules about the temperature at which it is served.

I think that this lawsuit about the fast food is completely ridiculous because it's not as if this guy had no other options available to him. If he needed to eat fast food, then he could have gotten Subway or a salad from McDonald's or Wendy's, which are much healthier than what he was probably ordering. Or, he could have bought a cookbook or watched a few cooking shows and learned how to cook for himself. He's refusing to face the fact that his obesity is a direct result of choices that he made, and he wants to find someone else to blame. Plus, if the defense's lawyers look into his family history and find similar problems in his relatives, he really has no case because they can say he was genetically predisposed to obesity, diabetes, etc.
