Why do I have a feeling that it's pronounced something like "re-TAAHHHRRR" deep in the heart of Texas?

Yep, when I say "retire" - it's 3 syllables.

BUT - feel free to change the last line to

"I could retire soon".

I did not get bid.
Legacy shenanigans!
I must have been cut.

Wait - I went to pref.
So I was not cut after all.
Why is there no bid?

Oh, I got a bid.
Only it was the wrong one.
What can I do now?

Advice is gratis.
They did not want you that much;
go with those who did.
