usually, if no one drops out, nearly everyone can get into A SORORITY..... but maybe not into the one they had their heart set on.

i'd say more than half usually get their first choice, though. and most of those who don't get their first choice end up in their second favorite house. so, i'd say the overwhelming majority are at least pretty happy with the outcome after formal rush.

each college has a few "less popular" houses that hardly make any cuts. usually when girls end up not pledging anywhere, it is because the houses they had their eye on didn't give them a bid, and the rushee would not accept a bid from one of the "less popular" houses, preferring to stay independent than to join one with a lesser reputation.

if you go into rush with an open mind, and your goal is to join any of the sororities on your campus, i can almost assure you that you will have a good outcome. it is when girls approach rush with just one or 2 houses in mind , and it doesn't work out with those houses, yet they are unwilling to consider other sororities, that rushees end up not pledging.
