Braids

I just got my micros done last week for the 1st time and they are iching my scalp like crazy. I've tried oiling them and spraying them witht braid spray every night, but still little relief. I paid $175 (hair included) so I really want them to last until October - but at this rate, I'm about to snacth these mugs outta my head. Any suggestions?

Also, I'm using Pink Oil every night to soften the hair, it's human (tight curly), but it's really rough and itchy to me. Any other suggestions since I can't wash them yet?

Watch out for that wet n wavy stuff. I spent $400 on interlock with it before my trip to Trinidad. I was only 3 weeks into the trip when it started to matt up really bad. I had to take it out after 5 weeks - I was pissed. I heard the best way to wash braids is to braid them into bigger braids all the way to the end - that way the ends don't matt.

Anybody in Chicago know of good, inexpensive braiders? I'm especially looking for someone who can do 2-strand twists.
