Contact the headquarters of the sorority and politely ask if they can put you in touch with anyone in your local area. You haven't exhausted all possibilities. Bear in mind that many sororities are in the Convention mode and you won't get an immediate response.
And - it goes without saying - don't form opinions based on what you read online or what you think you like about a philanthropy. When you get to campus you may not like any of the members in that group! You're not in a position to judge anything. Keep an open mind and don't listen to tent talk or gossip.
