I miss having ALA as our philanthropy. I loved that we were required to be CPR certified, and particularly at the time, an education about the problems of smoking was very appropriate to college age kids. We also supported a camp for cystic fibrosis, which kept our efforts local. Alas, the times they keep on changin.
