Nationals don't tell you to come back next semester. And you were the only pnm going through formal recruitment? Yeah, right. My BS meter is off the charts with this thread.

You could not have been the ONLY PNM going through FORMAL recruitment. You are either fabricating a ridiculously unrealistic story, or you are seriously delusional.

(why oh why do I continue to read updates to this thread?)

Most pnms at my school go through rush with all of the sororities instead of formal recruitment which is just the nationals.

I thought you were deleting your account, Jess.

This isn't how formal recruitment works. No group would bother with the expense of formal recruitment or the hours of planning for less than 10 PNMs. It simply isn't logical. You are seriously misunderstanding the situation around you, or are fabricating this whole thing.

OK, I was actually not responding to this thread (or any others that were created by the OP), and giving her the benefit of the doubt, but...

Only 1 PNM was left at the end of formal recruitment for 4 national sororities? And that 1 PNM didn't receive a bid? I call MAJOR BS!!!

This isn't even possible. If what the OP described was true, the chapters (or others higher up in their national organizations) would find this to be a huge problem and put a stop to formal and institute only informal recruitment. I mean.. how many girls are in each of these chapters? 5? Because I can't see there being much more than that if they're bringing in ZERO new members during formal recruitment.

Either Jess doesn't understand what just happened and is CLUELESS about recruitment, or this is completely made up.

I didn't qfp her responses after my last post because I am doing my best to be nice. And they were definitely qfp worthy... next time I'll qfp, since that seems to be my function these days.

no bid. told to go through again b/c they didn't get to know her in two hours. Then she flounced. I *think*. It was confusing.

Jess, please go back and re-read all your posts and our responses. You may gain some insight and understand why we are frustrated and annoyed with your "story".
