University of Southern California Recruitment 2013
The Greek system is 116 years old at SC. Alpha Chi Omega was established at the university in 1895. Ten chapters will participate in formal recruitment which begins with orientation on August 25th. At last report over 750 women have registered for sorority recruitment.
Panhellenic welcomes Alpha Gamma Delta. The chapter is returning and will recruit members after the completion of formal recruitment.
Schedule:
August 25th
Mandatory orientation
August 27th, 28th and 29th
Conversation days
By the 29th women will have visited all ten chapters
August 30th
Chapter house tours
Women will visit up to seven chapters by invitation
August 31st
Slideshow day
Women will visit up to four chapters by invitation
September 1st
Preference morning
Women will visit up to two chapters by invitation
September 1st
Bid night
Women will receive bids and return to chapter houses for a celebration
Sorority Presents will take place on October 17th during Parents' Weekend. New members will wear long white dresses for presents.
