My friend is having a party, and the invitation specifies "No feats of strength in the house". The grievance list is going to be good this year, though.

We're probably the only Catholic family to celebrate St. Lucia's Day, which is on the 13th. When I was younger, I'd bring my parents breakfast in bed while wearing a really cool candle wreath. Since my little Caiti is not quite 3, we're going to bring Daddy breakfast together.

That is my cousin Lucy's birthday. Her family always celebrates it and all my Italian cousins know the words to "Santa Lucia".

Love it! We celebrate it as a nod to my Swedish grandfather. My kids never got to meet him, but this way a little bit of him is still here.
