Sure, I can understand that, but most men always take credit for building their businesses and their empires all by themselves, but still expect their WOMEN to help them behind the scenes. So I feel Cynthia can expect the same from her man as well. I think that's why she kept reminding him, "We're a TEAM!" Men get very insecure when a woman becomes powerful, and Peter displayed that when he disappeared during such an important event.

LMAO!! Yeah, I agree ... and as socially balanced as Kandi has always seemed to be, I was really surprised that she tried to pull that with Marlo. Come on, ... anyone would know not to ask a question like that over-the-air. Sorry, Kandi ... I didn't fall for it that time.

No, a woman who does work behind the scenes is a woman who gets credit for helping to build. That's how real men do it, my significant other included.
Based on what we get to see on camera:
Cynthia and Peter should have communicated the expectations. Lack of communication is the problem. I do not assume that Peter is insecure over her success or not supportive. This stuff is not common sense. Different people expect different things which is why couples talk to each other. If Cynthia says "you can chill out...I'm going to do this by myself," Peter needs to interpret that exactly how she said it. It was not until the end that she reached out for Peter's assistance. It can be annoying when someone wants you to leave them alone until they want to be bothered with you. I think Cynthia is the one competing since she is the one who brought up the fact that both she and Peter have started businesses and may be competing with each other. She is the one who brought that up.

Kandi should have just asked "you are quite the ATL socialite, what do you do for a living?" I think Marlo is a loser.

I agree. Her whole come-back to Kandi was, "I heard you're a 'Big Mama' where you take care of guys ..." Um, ... WHAT?! I'm so glad Kandi didn't even waste her time acknowledging the comment. That was the most desperate grasp for a straw I'd ever seen, ... and a pretty pathetic one to say the least.

I don't think I've ever watched this shoow but being stuck in a hospital bed for a couple of hours and flipping the tv channels, I figured I should watch it.
I did...for about 5 minutes.
It was an older episode where Kim was still pregnant and at a restuarant with Korey (is that how you spel it).
I kept thinking, boy, she needs to lay off the Botoxed lips! And dress better.
Oh well, they are definiately not the Atlanta housewives I know in real life.
Next time, I'll just keep flippin!

What a boring episode ...
I'm starting to really like Nene more and more. As crazy as she gets when somebody disrespects her, the woman still has some morals and values. Kandi's mom made everyone very uncomfortable asking everyone to be friends again, but Nene never disrespected her ever. She didn't have to raise all up and go nuts at this woman, even though she didn't want to do what was asked. She just politely refused to discuss it. I think that says a lot about her.
Phaedra, on the other hand, who looked like a 13-year-old trying to do the African dance, strikes me as one who will do absolutely ANYthing. For starters, I personally have my reservations about a woman who makes a habit of checking out other women's "boo-tays". I'm also willing go so far as to say that I think she has Apollo hoodoo'd or something.
I was very surprised at Kandi going to great lengths to see all of Marlo's mugshots. She's way too secure for that kind of stuff. Save that Basketball Wives.
