They have cheerleaders in second grade? For what? Who can climb the highest on the jungle gym?
I'm so glad I grew up when I did, and where I did.
Yep for little league sports (football and basketball.) My mom coached it. THere are even competitive teams for kids that young. It's not really a Southern or other small town thing, either. It's pretty much everywhere.
