Just for the record...not all locals are like that.
I go to a school where it is all locals, there are no national organizations. My sorority is over 90 years old and we have traditions and rules that we strictly follow. We would never have agreed to be on MTV. They wouldn't have been able to film much of anything. Our bid meetings and pledge process are pretty much confidential.
Also, the pledge house thing is a bad idea. Honestly, if I had lived w/ my pledge sisters, as much as I love them, we would have had some major problems. We spent so much time together while pledging. Sometimes the only time that we were away from each other was while we were sleeping!
