Why don't you have as much volunteer work? Simply explaining truthfully would be the best. If it's because you're just plain lazy and went home every day to watch TV, well, there's nothing you can say to help you with that.

Hello Gandhi and welcome to GreekChat!

I know this sorority recruitment stuff can be overwhelming and confusing for someone who isn't familiar with it. I have some very general advice for you, but please understand that I am not speaking as a representative of Delta Zeta but as someone who has been through recruitment on both sides.

As far as your interview, it's very important that you BE YOURSELF. As far as volunteer work, be honest if they ask you about it. Emphasize your strong points. Be positive and upbeat. Don't try to hide your enthusiasm! If you find that you are really interested in joining, TELL THEM! These women want to meet and learn about YOU so this is your opportunity to sell yourself and let them know what special spark you can bring to the sorority.

Best of luck to you and I hope you let us know how things turn out!

- Tracy
