No, the poster is probably not mentally ill. I'm a mental health professional, and I wouldn't diagnose on the internet in any sort of personal context. As an advocate for my clients, I make a point to call out the sort of conflation you were making. Mental illness has enough stereotypes, it doesn't need 'internet trolling.'
