I am disgusted at the level of sanctimony leveled towards those who can't beat their demons. It makes me think that the people who can say these things have never met an addict--drug addict, alcoholic, or even a lifelong smoker.
One weird thing--I was listening to a Genius Mix based on "Back to Black," and it included songs by Janis Joplin and Jeff Buckley. Ack.
