I understand where you're coming from Crimson, but realistically parents can't always keep their child from being exposed to certain things.A child interest in sex can come from peer pressure and curiosity.As much as you may talk/scold whatever to your child, your attempts to keep them from being exposed may not be successful. And a lot of times, it's not the parents fault at all.
