OP has a point.
It's different for frats, but sororities have crazy, specific reps. Frats have general tiers and they change but you can call out what sorority a girl's in, and if you see a girl wearing letters you associate her to that rep. I know it's bad but it's almost instinctive here, most friends would agree.
I'm NOT saying it's right, but this is the mentality of the Row currently. Since sorority rankings are changing there is a lot of girls bitching at each other (houses jumping to take a Top 4 spot or say they're moving up) whereas guys are pretty cool with where they are.
