Our senior cat found us. She's beautiful, and I did finally find a picture of her on this computer, but it's not a great one. She clumbed a tree in our backyard as a kitten and was too high for anyone to climb and get her so we stood under the tree with food and finally coaxed her down. My mom let her inside to take a picture for a "Found" sign and Trill jumped into a dining room chair, curled up, and went to sleep. So she got to stay. She's named Trill because she makes a "trill" constantly. Like every time she moves. Our other two cats picked it up as kittens but they don't sound quite like she does.

This is her using the youngest cat, Blue, as a pillow. He was found at a barn. The caretaker had recently lost his hound puppy named Blue to teenagers doing donuts at night across the street, and this kitten showed up a couple of days later. He didn't plan on keeping him, so I took him under the pretense of making sure he got a check up (he looked younger than 6 weeks) and told my parents I would find him a home. Of course I didn't try very hard and he's ours. He's also called "Squeaks" because instead of meowing, he squeaks. Like a dog toy.

This is Gempa being bad...it's an old picture, but that's him on top of my parents' computer cabinet. I found him at yet another barn when I was in high school and told me parents he had been abandoned by a lake. I just knew he would likely be taken to the Humane Society otherwise and it was the middle of the summer...I couldn't stand for him to be euthanized. He's our big fat lazy cat, but he's the sweetest and politest.

And this is my adopted daughter, Riley. She's my boyfriend's dog, but I act like she's mine, too. We think she's part bird dog. She's a little neurotic, but she is ecstatic to see every person that walks in the door...everyone is her friend. This is her in his room trying to figure out this kitten we found. She was scared to death of it for a few hours, but by the next morning she wanted to play with it so badly she wouldn't let it sleep. He would curl up on my SO's computer for warmth and she would gently paw at him until he finally woke up, then she'd begin playing. She wasn't happy when we took him away.
