Okay, so here is my Pref Night experience.
I went to
Brittany first, which was a great pref ceremony, but something did put me off about this house. The girl who preffed me mentioned that her sorority was less of a sisterhood and more of a party. This offput me because I didn't rush because I wanted to party--I want a close group of friends that I know will last far beyond my four years. I left feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Afterwards, I went to
Kurt, which was...well...magical. A girl I had met in a previous round preffed me, which I thought was a good sign. While we looked over her scrapbook, we ended up getting off-topic for a bit and talking about movies, TV shows and music that we both liked. During the pref ceremony, a girl (from my state!) talked about how the house was a home away from home and that these girls were her future bridesmaids and basically her soulmates. It was then that I knew I really belonged here.
So, I ended Pref Night and my Rush experience with this Pref Card:
1. Kurt
2. Brittany
Bid Day came, and I gladly opened my Bid Card from Kappa. I am so excited and have felt so much love in the past few days that I can't even explain it.
I didn't believe people when I said I would just know, but I was (happily) proven wrong.
