So if there is no way to not work with this theme...use it as a way to promote and display that Barbie has had many careers (just like your members), lots of friends all over the world (just like our orgs. do) and she's kept up with the times without going out of style (like sororities).
This would also be a great way to use Aqua as your theme music, because Scandinavian 1990s pop music doesn't get enough air time any more. "HI PNMs! HI SISTERS! Want to join a sorority? SURE WE DO!
