Greekchat is really not a smart place for most PNMs/aspirants to do more than silently read. This is the fault of both the PNMs and the NIC/NPC/NPHC who continue to entertain certain topics and questions.
The recruitment forums would become stale without contemporaneous postings from PNMs/aspirants and actives.

Too bad it's so early in the day or I might have been helpful.

Since you aren't a sorority woman and your pretty perfect princess hasn't even gone through recruitment at this point, there's nothing helpful you can add here.

I have a son who is pretty heavily involved in Greek Life at a state flagship university east of the Mississippi and south of the Mason-Dixon line. Does that count?

No, as fraternity legacy policies are not the same as sorority legacy policies.

Not unless your son is a member of an NPC sorority and familiar with his organization's legacy policies. Seriously, your involvement in your daughter's upcoming recruitment and continuing to hang out here offering advice on topics you know nothing about is creepy. It won't be too hard for the girls at Auburn to figure out who overly involved creepy dad's daughter is. You really need to chill for your daughter's sake because there are plenty of lurkers here who may make decisions based on your behavior.

Seriously, cool down. It's a bulletin board. And my post wasn't advice but a comment on general posting. But, since you seem serious enough to torpedo my daughter, I'll swerve out of your way.

time to update my signature; you posted something else I liked a lot but this is short & sweet & expresses my current sentiments about numerous situations.
May I?
