This would be my guess. I think turkey bacon is much higher in sodium as well.
Don't know what Nutrition Action would say, but my general rule is that the real thing of any food is likely to be better for you than an alternative modified to taste like something its not. I know the real thing is going to taste better.
FYI, if you don't get Nutrition Action, turkey bacon is actually worse for you than the regular bacon (assuming you do strain your bacon).

That's what I was going to post. I've heard that turkey bacon is worse for you because the sodium content is way higher. Eating Canadian bacon is supposed to be the best option.
