Will come back tomorrow and post more.

Please do post tomorrow. It is now 8:45 and CBS went down just as the show was to begin. I am hoping your are happy because the results are what I want them to be.

I am very happy with the ending!

But can I just say that the eliminated team - wow, talk about sore losers!

Since it started late, my DVR missed the last 10 minutes of the race. Thanks to Vito (last night) and CBS.com vidoes (this morning) for catching me up.

And yes . . . very sore losers. It wasn't dumb that did them in, it was venom did them in. Their own.

It will really benefit you to watch the stuff on CBS.com but because they were U-Turned, the lesbians lost and were eliminated. They couldn't believe that they'd been U-Turned and said as much to Phil and Phil told them that the other team felt the lesbians had been rude to them. They looked aghast, couldn't believe it. They clearly had on clue what bioatches they are to others. Maybe watching the race on TV will help them see how they come off to others.

But, I'm glad they're gone

At this point, I'm loving the detectives (how clever was bringing that counter thing???) and still like the cowboys a lot. I'm not crazy about the brothers but dislike the couple even more so I'm hoping they go next. When they all went to the drumming thing, I thought to myself "NEVER do the thing where you have to learn a dance/music/etc and have someone approve you" While it seems like it would be easier, they always take a long time. Selling ice cream shouldn't be too tough!

gee_ess, here are the basic details of the mat conversations:

Phil: Why did you U-Turn Carol & Brandy?
Caite: They were really rude to me.

Carol/Brandy (I never cared to figure out which was which): I can't believe they were stupid enough to U-Turn us! Those idiots!
Phil: They said you've been very rude to them.
C/B: What???? Well we will be very rude now, after this. They are so stupid! I can't believe it. Dumb did us in. *add insults to Brent & Catie's intelligence here*
Phil: *eyebrow raised*

That's pretty much how I remember it My guess is C/B saw it as stating fact versus being rude. I wonder if they'll watch the episodes, and if they do whether they'll see themselves even close to how we saw them.

+ a zillion on the detectives bringing that counter. There's often a counting task somewhere on TAR, so kudos to them for thinking ahead. Smart. And it worked!

Was anyone else awestruck by the size of those ice cream sandwiches? Damn.

Thanks all!

Those ice cream "sandwiches" were crazy! Surprisingly American type things -sandwiching a Super Sized portion of ice cream between a piece of nutritionally lacking white bread! sounds just like something we'd do in this country!

It should be interesting to hear the Brandy/Carol interviews on daytime talk shows and see if they regret their total bitchyness. My guess is that they are bitches most of the time. They were rarely kind to anyone who helped them (gave directions, gave them a clue, etc) Their general attitude was an "I can't be bothered with niceties."

Who else is waiting for an Amazing Race Tell All where the contestants from all seasons get together and dish on each other! What a great idea! I have suffered through my share of Bachelor Tell Alls to know this one would be a hit.

Thanks for the update. Finally was able to get to CBS.com.

My favorite line of the day, "the closest we get to playing music is playing the radio."

So glad Carol and Brandi are gone. One is nastier than the other, but when the nicer of the two made the remark, "I explain it in 1st grade language for Caite and Brett", I wanted to bop her a good one.

Fun episode Too predictable though. They should change up their patterns a little bit.

I'm really pulling for the cops or the cowboys. The other two teams irritate me.

"Tranquil? ... What's that? ... Oh, like tranquility? ... Write that one down" LOL

I'm also pulling for the cops or the cowboys.

I agree, as long as it's not something lame like sit in a sauna for 10 minutes.
And the lame speedbump returned last night with the coin tossing. What did that take, 3 minutes? Way lame.

I did rally like Brent for a while last night, what with his enjoying being in China and his observations at the temple. But then there was the whole potty break thing. (I guess one person can't work on the detour if the teammate isn't there?)

Meanwhile, the brothers raced an absolutely awful leg. They walked around looking for the Garden Bridge for 2 hours before piggy-backing on the detectives?

The cowboys better win next week.
