I would ignore the guy above. It appears he just joined and is most likely a troll. Anyway, I would talk to the women you know in the group you are interested in. From them you should be able to gauge whether you would be a good fit for them, and they can also be your advocates to the chapter. Also, I would keep an open mind when going through recruitment.
