ok...
Miss Turn the Blind Eye
You keep entertaining while the rest of us follows sane advice.
Maybe you should just stick to talking about necklaces.

Oh, that's right. I forgot. You mean, "Maybe you should just stick to talking about things DaemonSeid agrees with" and everything will be okay.
I can talk about whatever the hell I want to talk about. Turning the blind eye? Not hardly. I do community service with my spare time. I'm sure some people can't say the same thing.
Back to the thread, I'm waiting to see how everyone reacts to this in the next year or so. I don't mean how they react now. I'm just saying in a year or so. It makes me smile when I think how Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize for....well, I'm not sure what. Maybe he got it for not being George W. Bush (which, I'm sure is Nobel Peace Prize worthy ). Maybe now people will really be behind him and all the GREAT things he has done for this country.
I can't wait for election time, again!

You're still not right. Everyone knows DS and I have disagreed VERY strongly in more than one thread but guess what... you leave the argument in that thread.
It's one thing for one person to disagree with you about something... BUT EVERYONE IN THIS THREAD IS TELLING YOU TO STOP.
P.S. Thank you for taking off your signature.

Four out of five of the uninsured were in working families.

Are they lazy? The ones who work but their employers don't provide health insurance? Oh? Should they get new jobs with employers that provide it? Problem is, there are not enough jobs with employers who provide health insurance for everybody to have such a job.

As a proud member of Phi Mu, I have every right to put my signature on here. I would leave arguments in a thread if DS would do the same. I am allowed to have opinions of my own without you feeling the need to tell me when I can and cannot discuss them. Thanks, but no thanks.
As someone who is very involved with the Alumni chapters and her own collegiate chapter, I might just put my signature back in. I don't make Phi Mu look bad, people who go around complaining about not being able to find jobs with a college education (and years of experience) make their orgs. look bad.
I think this whole ObamaCare thing is stupid. I said it, I believe it. I don't give a damn if people in here appreciate my feelings, but last time I checked this was a chatroom for people to discuss their thoughts.

AGDee, I see your point. The only issue I have is that people are in charge of their own destiny. In fact, as a college student in a graduate program, I no longer have health care. Did I choose this lifestyle? Yes. I chose to be in graduate school. It is like teachers who "strike" for more pay. It annoys me because they knew they were going into a job which paid them about $35,000 a year (which is more than many caseworkers make) and they get 3 months off for summer break, yet they think they are entitled to more money. Then, some of those teachers get summer jobs. I mean, really?
If you chose a career path with little to no insurance, that is your own fault. I am owning up to my choice to not have it. It sucks. Yes, but I chose to go back to school. Thoughts?

Hahaha...you reply to what I said because it makes you feel better to disagree with me, yet you won't reply to Rasputn because he is calling you out. I don't know much about that Mumbia cop killer (I never read up on it, and don't really care) but, you come off as someone who would have fought for the Jena 6. I bet you stood behind them, didn't you?
Wow, it never ceases to amaze me.
