Just a note: The Ivy League is actually a specific group of schools. So none of them would be in the South anyway. The only schools that are Ivy League are Brown, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth, Columbia, Penn...that's it. Giving a high quality education or having smart people go there does not make a school ivy league. I know that is a common misconception, and that "ivy league" is sometimes synonymous with "elite" but I just wanted to set everyone straight.
