His posts in all of these threads have been ignored partly because his membership in the D9 is still laughable.

If you want to present a different opinion begin on a respectful note. It is Zeta Tau Alpha.

I have heard this silly analogy quite a bit and it takes me back to the old "whites in BGLOs" discussions. If people think it's all par for the course then they have no understanding of the course.

Everyone is entitled to their personal opinions and feelings about any topic. Blame Sprite. No one made them make this decision.

Also, who's to say that the members of predominately white teams/organizations did not make the same argument about "us" when we broke into their respective groups (i.e. golf, basketball, country music, Indiana University )? What this means to me, is that other groups have taken note to what we have done, and they are compelled to not only learn, but perfect the craft. "Imitation is the highest form of flattery".Guarantee next year's shows will be MUCH better from all organizations involved.

First, "Imitation is NOT the sincerest form of flattery." I wish people would stop with that lie. I guess it makes folks feel better about being copied and used. Second, this analogy is becoming overused and quite frankly isn't a good one. And last, they do not perfect what we do and if you know history, you know that they take, use, and then take credit for. Don't let me get into examples. I shouldn't have to.

I'm going to wish on a star tonight that everyone gets this message! Imitation is not flattery it is (excuse my french) F**kery and Foolishness. It could only be flattering if I placed no value on that which you have attempted to steal from me.

POINT BLANK....do not come to D9 orgs suggesting an idea to generate money and not follow the D9 rules. Lets keep it real D9...but did you really think Sprite was going to let us win all that money alone?? If they could of had it their way they would of never allowed my Sorors to co-win. Lets just keep it 100 and realize that they saw a window of money and opportunity and took it. You can't fault them...because at the end of the day we are still waiting on our 40 acres and a mule.

Agree but much of the blame should go to our leadership. Since we were supposed to have some sort of partnership with Sprite and they used us for all advertising and promotion (a few non-D9 members thrown in doesn't count), they should have made sure we had some say (greek only judging, who could participate, etc.) and some creative control. When will we learn?

First, said nothing to disrespect them.
And to the other individuals, perhaps YOU do not believe that imitation is the highest form of flattery, but speak for yourselves. Remember, these are people's opinions. All I am saying is that those girls did their thing. And from here on out, I bet D9 orgs won't have the same 'ol shows that you see everywhere. That.is.all

If you believe this then it makes sense that you think imitation is the highest form of flattery. You have nothing to contribute to this discussion.

So "Zeta Tau Whatever" isn't disrespectful? Coming from an organization which was specifically called Kappa Alpha [racial slur], I'd assume as a man and presumably a gentleman, you'd do better than that.
The rest of your post is irrelevant because ZTA used pieces from "same ol' shows" in order to win, one of them from one of the other chapters that was in the same show.

You all are entitled to your opinions just as I am entitled to mine. I did not refer to those ladies in any sort of derogatory manner. Nevertheless, it has nothing to do with whether I am a gentleman or the past history of MY organization.
And as for "having nothing to contribute"...I guess your (Dr. Phil) contributions to greekchat are more relevent and thought-provoking, huh? Oh well. On to the next one.
