You didn't really have a strong understanding of how expansion works. Clearly.
When people tried to tell you about the process (which
is difficult, particularly if you have your heart set on
one particular group, we're in an economic recession, and your campus has unique circumstances), they weren't trying to be Debbie Downers who just want you to take the easy way. They were trying to paint a realistic picture of the process.
