No, trust me - I understand that it's a solid-state drive (by the way - the 'efficiency' argument is somewhat specious, since use of wifi/3g should chop battery life in half, just like with the iPhone). However, since flash memory is still very expensive for larger chips, it's another example of the iPad being hardware-handicapped.
That doesn't mean it won't work well for sitting on the couch or riding the train - but it's really, really limited, both in scope and scale.
