Channel 11 here had a reporter named Kris Long...basically Ted Baxter come to life.
He had many memorable moments but the one that sticks out in my mind is when they were doing a human-interest story to end the newscast. The story was on a rhino from the Pgh Zoo being shipped to another zoo so they could breed them. Kris ended the story by turning to the camera, leering, and saying "Lucky rhinos!"
You always got the impression that he was trying to grab the female co-anchor's knees under the news desk. I think he's out West someplace now.
