I saw recently that Eclipse is in post-production and scheduled for release in June 2010. While I'm glad we get to see it a little earlier, I kinda like the Autumn setting - it just seems fitting.

My husband will be happy, though - he's only about halfway though the first book, so he's DYING at New Moon's ending and is ready for Eclipse RIGHT NOW. HA! Even as slow of a reader as he is, though, I'm sure he can make it through the series by June.

Honestly, I thought New Moon kinda sucked. It was unbelievably slow, but I guess that can be attributed to the book. While I really enjoyed the books, I don't think I will be seeing Eclipse.

Also, Robert Pattinson is not remotely attractive. Blech!

He wasn't cute in this film, he looked sick. I thought the book was a fast read, Eclipse was slow to me..

OMG, YES @ AlphaFrog (and hubby)!! I was HOLLERING in the theater at the ending!!
And the phasing was just like I pictured it as I was reading. That one tear that rolled down Jake's face. I was NOT expecting the scene in the kitchen to play out like it did, when he started whispering in Quileute to her. *swoons* lol!!

Hi, I'm Nikki and I am an undercover Twi-Hard. lol!

While I realize Taylor Lautner is attractive, jacked and tan is not my type. Edward was supposed to look like crap during the watchtower scene because he thought Bella was dead! Pale is just what I prefer. Besides, after reading the books, I can't understand why anyone would be on Team Jacob. Jacob is like a fly that just keeps buzzing around Bella and Edward. Team Jacob doesn't exist if Summit didn't cast a hot actor to play Jacob.

Heck, if we're talking Taylor vs. Robert - there's no contest (especially before he cuts his hair off) - Team Taylor all the way. But then, Native American is totally my type (married to a Zapoteca) - pasty Brit is not.

Edward vs. Jacob though - I dunno, there's something endearing about the lost-cause underdog.

Just saw NM yesterday. Worth the wait to sit an a near empty theatre with no screaming tweens during the shirtless scenes! Funniest thing tho was a girl yelling out "Shit!!" during a certain cliff diving scene...clearly she didn't read the books! haha

Have you seen this spoof of Breaking Dawn yet? So funny!!

I finally got around to seeing it last night. I actually liked this one better than Twilight. I thought the directing was better (and therefore the acting) and most of the vampires looked better- except for Rosalie. She looked way better in the first.
It was too cheesy in some parts...I'm specifically thinking of Alice's vision of Bella and Edward running through the forest. Come on- really?
By the time I had seen it, most of the teenage fans had already passed through it was mostly people around 22-35, I'd say. Fair number of men, too. I enjoyed the uncomfortable laughter when all of the woman gasped when Jake first took off his shirt....and they remembered he is 17.

Bolded 1:
I don't know if you read the series, but if you did, that scene makes TOTAL sense. (The slow motion was not really necessary, lol)

Bolded 2:
My friend, with whom I went to see the movie, has a gigantic crush on him. She swoons, then reprimands herself because he is only 17. But the MINUTE he turns 18.... lol!!!

The directing was better, I think they got the "feel" of the book better than the first one. Funny what a strong box office will do. ha ha!!
