Are they only worth being friends with because they are in a sorority and may eventually be able to get you in?? You know, sorority women ARE allowed to have friends that aren't in their sorority. If they sense that you are only trying to be friends with them to get into their sorority, that might be turning them off. If you seriously just let the sorority thing go and just let the friendship take over, the sorority thing may follow later.
