Thanks And I hope it does help. I am a little worried. I've heard that once other sororities see you are a legacy to a different one than they cut you because they think you are going the one you are a legacy for.

Should I tell them I am one through recruitment or just ignore it? I want them to somehow know I am trying to keep an open mind instead of only looking at the ones I have a leg for.

I'm a legacy to: Alpha Delta Pi, Phi Mu, Kappa Delta and Alpha Phi
all from my Sisters, Mother and Grandmother!

I actually think at my chapter this would make us want to rush you harder to get you to join!

This is really up to you. Generally there is a spot for you to include this in your recruitment applicaton.

Depending on your school, other chapters may only be able to view legacy info if it applies to them.

At some schools, legacy info is seen by all chapters.

At the end of the day, if a chapter is going to cut you for being a legacy to someone else, what can you really do about it?

On a competitive campus that can happen, however the fact that you are a legacy to 4 different ones should actually help IMO. The Chapters would see your family encourages and accepts individual decisions. It's the girl whose mom, sisters, Grandma's, and every single aunt are all XYZ that suggests a PNM would never consider anything else, whether it be her choice or overwhelming family pressure.

maelynn, it sounds to me that you have the right attitude. you can't make an educated decision before you meet the chapters. good luck to you!

THIS.

Is App all that competitive? I know it's a Southern school, but it's by no means SEC.
