I'm excited!!! I just got my acceptance letter into a graduate certificate program through East Carolina University!

Its for Community College Instruction and I hope to use this as a stepping stone into a masters in Adult/Higher Education. To me its weird to say I'm a grad student now lol!

Just started a new semester. One of my classes has a GROUP term paper? Um, what??

I'm not loving the idea of writing a paper with 4 other students.

Wow, holy old thread batman! I just read my post about being in my 3rd week of school. I graduated in December with Merit, just barely missing Distinction. Loved the programme and my lecturers, and even though my thesis damned near killed me...wouldn't trade it for the world. Anyone thinking of going abroad for their MA/PhD, do it! Absolutely do it!

I'm on my way to Grad School myself. Business.

Then onto Houston or Dallas.

Thought I'd toot the horn of my University and my department. Glasgow University Dept of History of Art was named #1 in research in the UK. Pretty awesome award, and definitely well deserved. http://www.gla.ac.uk/departments/his...104505_en.html

Try doing one with 10. I hated that class with a passion.

We were supposed to be published, too, if Sally Whinesalot (yes, this was a guy) hadn't effed things up.

ETA: I see that you posted that at the beginning of the semester. How did it go?

It was quite a pain, but it went fine. We ended up with an A (and I got an A in the class).

I contacted the grad school that I've applied to in order to determine whether my official transcripts had connected with my online application. They haven't. I ordered the official transcripts first and had a set sent to me too, since I had no clue where my transcripts were. The day I received them, I applied to grad school. I think I better order another set for grad school and verify which address they should go to. I just want to know for sure that I'm accepted although I'm not really worried because I meet the minimum criteria by a landslide.
