When I was in school one of my good friends in the chapter had this ugly, old, horrible, rotting thing she called "Comfy." Comfy was originally a pillow, but she had owned him since her birth and by the time I met him some 20 years later, he was a stinking, discolored lumpy mess. I can't imagine wanting that thing close to me but she was maniacally attached to it.....could NOT sleep without it and would hug it and love it. We used to screw with her and pretend to take it (but none of us wanted to touch it!!!!)
I have a big furry animal I sleep with too......my husband!!!! And right now he is out of town, which means I CANNOT sleep. Last night was his first night away and I was up til 5.....tonight my daughter is already sleeping in my bed so I am hoping to turn in soon, maybe by 2. My dog also sleeps in my room, when it is cold she actually gets in the bed. I'm sure she's in there now since my little girl is.....she is very protective of the kids.
