what about vv or lily style skirt and a color-coordinated fitted button-up blouse?
for the gentlemen in the party, khakis with oxford cloth long sleeveed shirts, no tie, and a navy blue blazer. if no one else is wearing a jacket, they can leave it in the car-they can always take a tie along in the car in case the majority at the party are wearing them.
