Something interesting though...According to Jason's interview with People, he said Melissa knew that something was going on before the show, but then he says he couldn't tell here exactly until the show. He made it seem like it was over before it started....

I didn't watch the show, so I don't know how shocked Melissa felt, but still....The People interview will help you to see how much of an ass he is...

On the Ellen interview w/ Melissa, I believe she said (and I'm paraphrasing) that after the holidays she kinda knew that it wasn't going to work out, and she asked him repeatedly if there was someone else, or if it was b/c of Molly and he told her 'no'. At some point he just shut down and backed away and she didn't know why.

Then she was really surprised that they moved the ATFR taping way up.

When she found out the taping was moved, she asked him "Is there something you want to tell me? Am I going to be blindsighted by anything?" and he just said "oh gosh no!"

And then on the taping he told her it was b/c of Molly.

I believe she also said that she knew he contacted Molly at one point while they were still engaged.

But when Ellen interviewed Molly & Jason, they totally denied everything. Oh no! I was so surprised! I had no idea! I was staring at Chris with my mouth wide open! - says Molly

Jason also said he didn't contact Molly... BS.

In the People Magazine article he said that the producers gave him "permission" to contact Molly once since he was "worried" about her after he dumped her. They said that he could call her one time.

Just saw on both People and US Weekly websites that Melissa is joining Dancing With the Stars as the replacement for Nancy O'Dell. Guess she isn't too pissed at TPTB at ABC.

Good Lord!! Has Melissa not been humiliated in public enough?? She is either a glutton for punishment or a total publicity whore. Of course, she could certainly be both, as they are not mutually exclusive! Sympathy alone will get her through a few rounds, but still...

Of all the ways to parlay her 15 minutes of fame into something a bit bigger, this isn't a bad way to do it. Dancing with the Stars isn't going to delve into her personal life too much. She won't be followed 24-7 by cameras. It's not a typical reality show that's going to exploit her. Though she'll have to be "the girl who got dumped" , but hey, that just makes Jason look like more of a schmuck every time it gets brought up.

There's A LOT worse things she could've done... Playboy, some other craptastic reality show.

And she shouldn't do too bad, She has a dance background.
