I've seen Illinois' Greek Row and it was very impressive.

15th is the main "Row" at Ohio State, but many of the fraternities range from 13th to Iuka and Waldeck (north of 18th). Iuka is a really cool winding road where the houses sit up on the hill. The Sammie house is enormous! Because this was a residential area at one time, whenever a house went up for sale, a chapter would buy it and tear it down or remodel it.
The Alpha Gam house is one good example. The original house was built in 1930 and was a private residence at the corner of 15th and Indianola. The house association purchased it in 1952 and it remained relatively unchanged until the late 70s. Right before the chapter recolonized in 1979, the house associate bought and demolished the house behind it, and a 6000 square foot addition was completed bringing it to a little over 10,000 square feet.
