My daughter told me last night that she doesn't want the cell phone she's been ogling all this time after all! They are coming out with an upgraded one that she thinks she will want more, next year. So, in addition to the several books, make up mirror and frame I already got her, I just ordered a Dooney and Bourke tote from Dillards. She admired it before but I acted aghast at the price. She is going to be SO surprised!!!!!!!! It's much more fun to get someone something like that when they didn't ask for it than to buy the ONE thing that they MUST have or else they'll totally freak out. Way more fun
The photo frame I bought her is a black diamond shaped frame that holds 9 different 4 x 6 pics. I printed several of the city scenes she took pictures of in Europe and filled the frame with them. She loves black and white city shots and always wants to buy them when we're at street fairs so I think she'll really like this. I'm wondering how long it will take her to realize that the pics in it are actually pics she took and not the samples that come with the frame..lol. Yep, it will be a fun Christmas and she will be very surprised because she's not expecting several of her gifts but I know she'll love them!
I still have about $50 to spend on her so I think I'll just get her a Border's Gift Card for the rest or put money on her VisaBuxx card.
