Are you familiar with Billhighway and how it works? If not, get the current treasurer to go over it with you.
The best things you can say are that you will make sure to explain misc. charges before they are posted, and plan a great chapter development about dues...where the money goes. Most chapter members do not understand that national dues are $$ per chapter member and are due in November, how much a composite costs, budgeting for homecoming, initiation, insurance, etc.
The average chapter member looks at their bill and questions "where is all my money going??? Why don't we have more parties???"
