My own advice:
Your consequence for not making point has to be something that is relevant to the chapter.
For example, saying "if you don't make points, you lose social privileges" means NOTHING if your chapter isn't big on socials anyway.
In my chapter, Big Sis/Little Sis was a huge deal, so one of our consequences for failing to make points (for I think 2 months in a row) was the inability to take a Little Sis.
