Actually, I've seen a video tape of another school (can't recall where) that also has a "switch day". They incorporate stepping, etc. The difference was that fraternities switch with sororities and vice versa (for example, I think the Omegas mimicked Zeta and the Zetas mimicked the Omegas).

It was quite funny, but in a mean-spirited sort of way—and certainly less funny if it was your group getting the worst of it. Of course, I'm sure there were hurt feelings generally afterward. I recall the fraternities really doing a number of the Sororities particularly, (I recall the AKAs getting a partiularly mean mimick). I understand they were "hot" after the performance (and understandably so). I also recall a sorority doing a real number on Sigma. I certainly can't imagine that this type of event builds ANY sort of NPHC or Greek unity on the campus--in fact, it probably really built underlying hostility throughout the year on the yard.
